What's for Dinner, Fri., June 7, 2019

Last edited Fri Jun 7, 2019, 06:58 PM - Edit history (1)

Posting early due to working late:

We're having sockeye salmon grilled on a cedar plank tonight. It has a glaze: spicy lime brown sugar sauce.

There will be some other items, of course, but I don't know what they are at the moment. Post back later. On edit: Here they are:

artichokes, fingerling potatoes
in garlic and olive oil, herbs, lots of freshherbs

eggplant parmesan

Vegan Italian style 'sausage' in a roll with peppers and onions. Iced tea and pickle flavored chips.

Summer time food on a picnic table in the yard type dinner.

We had an errand to run out of town and took advantage of the fact that we were out of town to find a Vietnamese restaurant (there are none anywhere near us where we live).

I love Pho Ga. I know it's not really soup weather, but that big bowl of noodle soup makes me very happy.

We also had some spring rolls.

I didn't finish all my pho, so I'll have it for brekkie like they do in Vietnam.

There's a very special ice cream sandwich in the ice box--chocolate chocolate chip cookies surrounding black raspberry ice cream. I'll share it w/ Al if I go looking for something sweet tonight.
