that is an amazing price. I heard avocados were going through the roof because of Trump and his big mouth. Closing the border talk.

Hey everybody, let me tell you that avocado toast on pumpernickel is out of this world, so if you have nothing else to do with your avocados, try it.

I heard the talk about all produce going up so I have been purchasing an endless cornucopia of berries and veggies from Mexico. What a feast it is this time of year, hope it keeps on going with the great prices.

This is my new favorite meal for one.

I've been keeping a few boneless chicken thighs marinating in the fridge (oil, lemon juice, garlic, Italian seasoning).

I saute one thigh in a small skillet and toss a handful of spinach in when the chicken is done. Then make a pan 'cream' sauce with a sprinkle of flour. Deglaze the pan with a splash of white wine, then add milk, a shake of red pepper flakes, and some fresh tomatoes. When the sauce thickens I toss in the warm farfalle, season, simmer for a minute or two, and dinner is ready.

It's quick, tasty, and there is only one pan to wash.
