Pierogies boiled a bit to long my boys I love them

Our sons making lunch after taking care of our horses donkey pig chickens. they made green pepper sausages with onion and boiled pirogies I’m thinking to long. As I watched then dump them into the bowl they were like mashed potatoes pierogis. They cooked broccoli and then cut up sausages and dumped them in the pierogies. Then add liberal amounts ketchup. My wife is going to do shepherds pie dinner that will be hit as well. Here dad have bite thanks fellas not bad now they cleaned up.


Next attempt is a chocolate cake this afternoon with desert Sheppard pie going bed gotta work tonight

Toss the sauteed hot italian sausage/pepper/onion combo into the mac & cheese after the cheese packet dissolves ... comes out kinda like a pizza in a bowl.

And then, of course cracked black pepper and a LOTTA SIRACHA on top, baby!

Originally the Italian was cooked over charcoal ... this adds a TON of character to the final product, I must say.

Pretty damn tasty, simple, cheap, easy brunch. Not the healthiest, of course, but ...

I still make them and I remember my brother Steve still won't eat them them cause they look like ears. Meant more for me and my five other syblings to fight over.

If I can't wait, Mrs T's make a pretty good one.

Are youse guys of Polish or Slav heritage?

The women of our home church would have pierog sales several times a year. People from all over would go bonkers. Then churches would publish all church sales in our diocesan paper. I called it 'dueling Pierogies'! 😆 "Our church made three hundred bazillion...." "Well our church made thirty thousand kabillion...." 🤣
