Peppadew hot whole sweet piquante peppers

14 oz glass jar

I've been to five markets looking for this item. Wouldn't you know it's the ONLY ingredient for a recipe that I can't find.

Whole Foods (2 stores), Fairway, Uncle Giuseppe, Shop Rite. Niente!

I don't want to buy from Amazon because I only want one jar and that means almost $17 b/c of shipping and handling.

Any suggestions? (I've already gone online and only see E Bay and Amazon so far.)

I found the Peppadew *mild* piquante peppers at Fairway and made a call. I bought them and chopped up a single habenero (yellow) pepper with 1/2 cup of the chopped jarred peppers. It worked out in the finished product with good flavor and a decent amount of heat.
(I made Chicken Scarpariello with Sausage and Peppers.)
