Lamb-vegetable soup

or

chicken vegetable soup.

it's the diner's choice. The RG made two soups. The lamb is tender, as it was made in the slow cooker. I had a taste just a short time ago and it's so delicious. Perfect for the very cold weather we are experiencing now.

I'm making some dill-cottage cheese muffins to go with the soup. We also have some other kinds of bread, like the rustic Portuguese rolls with cracked tops. Might warm these up, too, and serve them with butter.

Cheese and fruit for dessert.

potatoes, often with cheese, sometimes with other vegetables. It was always delicious. One of my most beloved leftover meals.

I got a good deal on the chicken & this is easy.

Next time though, I'll spice the chicken breasts at start of baking. Live & learn.
