Lamb steaks. Italian broad beans cooked in olive oil and sausage bits with onion. Diced potatoes with rosemary.
Strawberries and blueberries with yogurt for dessert. Spicy chai tea.
Beef tacos with crispy shells. Lettuce, tomatoes, salsa, minced onions and jalapeño peppers on the side.
Yellow rice and refried beans to round out the menu.
Margaritas, of course!
As a joke, I put all of the ingredients on the kitchen counter and put four bricks around them. It went over like a lead balloon since the Landlady(!) is never pleased when I mix politics and food.
It's 12º in the Catskill Mountains so we have a roaring fire going.

(32,982 posts)I started with a can of an organic lentils, I added in sauted carrot shreds, celery, onions, chicken broth & garam masala spices.
Adding hot naan bread
Decafe coffee cafe au lait for later

Made some homemade choc chunk cookies too.
