I'm going out so it's beef tacos for the boys and fish tacos for the spouse. Black beans, refried beans, and veggie blend on the side.

No dessert unless I get a wild hair or some idea from the board.

The fridge is getting empty and I had to miss my usual shopping day (Thurs.) because one car is in the body shop and my husband is at work with the other .

with re-fries, guac, and ranch dressing -out of sour cream, both kinds of tortilla's corn and flour

And cook up the pinto beans that have been soaking...and probably have some tomatoes with Balsamic vinegar and pepper...that is desert for me.

This should be a shopping day but I woke up with that pressure in my lumbar region that is a warning about this back going out. It's a little like being a ticking bomb, lol. Shopping and cooking may not be the best idea because I focus on what my hands are doing and not on what my spine is doing. Going to try to walk it off and see if it goes away in time for shopping. If that works, split pea soup with bakery rolls so the stove can stand there instead of me.

I also made a big pot of New England Clam Chowder for tomorrow's lunch. Since my daughter moved in a few months ago I've been cooking ahead a lot. She works afternoon/night shift and needs to eat something substantial before she heads out at 12:30 PM.
