Customize your yogurt.

Start with plain yogurt, homemade or store-bought. Low fat, whole milk, whatever.

Then make pie filling of any variety: apple, blueberry, cherry, peach, whatever's in season and available. Custards: coconut cream, chocolate, etc. Nuts: pecan pie.

Combine. It's that easy.

I was inspired by how a half cup of yogurt was going for $1.49 apiece ($1.00 if on sale) and all you got was 1/3 a cup of yogurt and maybe 2 TBS of flavor. (No wonder it's low cal.)

I started by combining pie and yogurt and graduated to omitting the crust. The filling is luxurious and complements the yogurt much better than manufactured.

Greek yogurt, some walnuts and a splash of real maple syrup. That is how I break my 16 hour fast every day. Lost weight and feel great. Now have a healthy BMI for the first time in 25 years.

yogurt (plain yogurt) with honey. Sometimes with walnuts or fresh fruit. I really miss dairy products, esp. aged cheddar.
