Do the Danish

I dropped off some breakfast treats to some of the local businesses this morning (kind of a promotional thing). I really enjoy making goodies that require laminated dough, Danish are one of my favorites, along with croissants. It's always a rather pleasant situation to keep a few for myself.

One of the things I want to do after I retire in 6 months is baking with yeast. That looks heavenly!

Quite often I hear that people have some trepidation when it comes to working with yeast. I think I'll put together a class that addresses the subject and see what kind of response I get. Once you are familiar with the basics of working with yeast it is pretty simple.

It can also get reasonably complex. That to me is the best part about working with yeast. It’s easy to get started, but you can take it as far as you want to go.
