(130,974 posts)Deeper flavor, maybe because of their derivation, believed to have developed as a cross between the Washington navel and the Brazilian Bahia navel. Some say low in acid, so they taste sweeter than most other varieties.

Just checked, they'll be delivered to my daughters next month! (I send them fruits every month, so grandkids get into the habit. They HAVE!)
