What's for Dinner, Mon., Dec. 18, 2017

Just walked in the door to see a big soup pot of seafood soup. It's got scrod and clams in it, and probably shrimp. Tomatoes, and lots of vegetables. Ummmm, I can hardly wait!

I brought some sushi home for an appetizer.

For dessert, almond cake and ginger tea.

That's a shame.

That's my mom's joke. She learned it when she was living in Boston.

I made red enchilada sauce this afternoon. Very tasty, but I used too much on the tortilla layers, a bit soggy.

Tonight we had bean soup...with the ham bone from Thanksgiving...boiled it in chicken broth with onion, garlic, salt, pepper and celery added mixed veg at the end. There was quite a bit of meat clinging to the bone. It was delicious. Served with garlic toast and fruit. a Peanut Butter cup for dessert.
