What's for Dinner, Thurs., Dec. 14, 2017

This is take-out because both of us were so busy today that there is no time to cook:

Chicken noodle soup or chili, whatever is preferred

Japanese spring rolls with spicy sweet sauce

Apple galette with vanilla ice cream.

Strawberries (our Costco has them) and cheese from V. Sattui for dessert, accompanied by a 2015 Left Bend Chardonnay.
The Chardonnay is especially good for those who like a Chardonnay without the oakey flavor; very smooth.

For Him: fried flounder, some crazy frozen veg mix, and his favorite, Rice-a-Roni. And for Moi, sauteed shrimp and spinach in a garlic, cream and Parmesan sauce. At least we'll get together later for an episode of Midsomer Murders!
