Lamb T-bones. They look like filet mignon, but they're lamb.
Zucchini and garlic cooked in olive oil.

(2,302 posts)I made what my mother calls "potted steak," bottom round cooked like pot roast, with onions and carrots. I tried Better Than Bouillon rather than my standard Knorr cubes. And LATKES!!!

Our favorite Cuban place in reasonable driving distance in Florida was in a rickety shed-like building without air conditioning but fantastic food--until the health department shut it down. Never saw anything that offended us, so it probably (mostly) didn't have the right equipment, which seems even probable. We still miss it.
For us, shrimp and artichoke hearts with penne pasta, served in a broth made from the shells.
