What's for Dinner, Sat., Dec. 2, 2017

Comfort food tonight: meatloaf, broccoli rabe, and macaroni & cheese.

For dessert: dark chocolate with pomegranate in it.

The RG is on a trip to Aspen, so I'm on my own through the week. I will be cooking lots more vegetables!

We have a new refrigerator! Got it a couple days ago and it was a lot of work getting the old one out and the new one in. It is so much larger and I'm thrilled to have the extra space.

There is a spiral cut ham and sweet potato in the oven.
A pan of pasta and cheese is waiting for oven space.
Some dinner rolls are rising.

We have not yet decided on salad or vegetable detailst.

We both were way behind on sleep. I actually managed to sleep until afternoon. TJ went to the hospital at 3 am this morning to cover a half shift for someone. I stayed up and we (me plus the dog) saw her off.

And black olives. The tomatoes are from the garden, chopped and frozen in early September. Garlic bread and salad. Dessert is maybe some oatmeal or Wheaties cookies I baked for tomorrow. Or maybe a glass of wine ....
