It's cold and the RG is a hearty-food lover, so we have roast beef with some sort of sauce he mixed up. I can't say much about it other than it's really good and it appears to be cream-based. Also soup: corn, potato, beans, and pasta.
We are waiting for the public service tech to come over and light our furnace. It's cold; no heat! In the meantime, all this cold weather food should help.

simple stuff ... wife and I are both tired ... we got a ramp built for
my wife ... she is getting her ankle rebuilt and will be on a neeling
scooter ... for about 6 or 7 weeks .. no weight bearing ... and then
rehab ... she took a year off from teaching so she can get well ...
so looking fwd to being able to go for walks ...

(9,680 posts)YES brand sweet potato and corn chowder soup. Lemon Pie for dessert (it's a Marie Callender frozen pie but it's pretty good). The canned soup needed a little garlic salt added.
