Goat cheese raviolis in tomato sauce, which has ground lamb in it. The ravioli was given to us by a friend, and came from a specialty shop in Manhattan.
The sauce is fresh, and the RG used my tomatoes to make it. He charred the tomatoes before making the sauce.
I know some of the herbs are tarragon and lavender. Also basil.
This is a friend's birthday dinner, so should be fun!

Dry rubbed with salt, pepper, garlic, thyme and rosemary.
TJ went to the store for veggies, so sides will be determined when she returns with them.

Sides are mashed potatoes, broccoli, and gravy made from the pan drippings.
I forgot I had acorn squash which could have baked with the roast and would pair well with the pork.

(2,016 posts)The surprise being whatever leftovers go into 'em. Right now, it's chicken, pinto beans, diced tomatoes, jalapenos, onion, diced green chilies (canned), and maybe black olives. Drop some sour cream and chipotles in at the end, and wrap it all up in a flour tortilla. (The adobo sauce and cream should bring it all together - I hope.)
I'll save the cooking for tomorrow, and this should free up a few containers, too.
Edit: ... and beer.
