(3,040 posts)I went to the university of Scranton from 2002 - 2006 and I never had wings as good as from any place than in the Scranton/Wilkes Barre area.

(36,827 posts)It's very hard to get wings that are consistently done well, as least as far as I like them. Even if you can find them cooked well that are crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, they are typically drowned in sauce.

marinate wings in lemon juice, garlic, olive oil & rosemary, grill
I cook mine in the oven,

(13,926 posts)I've been going to this little joint in Hollyweird Fla for years. Ricky's on Hollywood bvld. Been there since 1955. Good stuff. Habanero/garlic, naked.... Lunch special 8.95 for 10 with fries.

(111,367 posts)I really don't like the over vinegared US sauces, so I make the Chinese variety. This one looks fairly close to mine, although I use whole dried hot chiles and no catsup. I put some of the sauce with wings in a big baggie in the fridge overnight, cook them the next day, and serve them with the rest of the sauce.
I've also used this one with fish and it's been great. It would probably go very well with pork if you eat it and turkey if you don't.
