Tossed salad and soup.
The salad is mesclun and Im adding blue cheese crumbles and roasted pumpkin seeds that I got from WF this a.m. I made French vinaigrette using apple cider-balsamic vinegar and it turned out to be so delicious. What a quality olive oil can do for a salad dressing cannot be overestimated.
Bowl of soup, but I dont know what it is since the RG made it and didnt label it.
Talenti hazelnut chocolate chip gelato as a topping on coconut custard pie for dessert.

(9,838 posts)have the whole turkey, dressing, cranberries and sides, plus tons of desserts. I'm making mac & cheese (so the children will have something to eat), broccoli and biscuits. My sister made cherry snowball cookies and I made rum balls.

(9,273 posts)The only meat my granddaughter (age 6) will eat is chicken so I made a breast in addition to the big ham yesterday. She ate that, a roll, and of course cookies and candy. Her little brother (age 2) eats everything.

(9,273 posts)not really, DH is picking up takeout on his way home. Had a big dinner party last Sunday and hosted Christmas dinner yesterday, will start with leftovers tomorrow. Too tired to do hair/put on a bra to actually go out.

(1,706 posts)Something lighter and healthier after all the rich food for Christmas.
Turkey noodle soup. Homemade stock, turkey, carrot, onion, celery and egg noodles.
Crackers and assorted cheeses. We had some people over on Christmas Eve and the cheese is leftover from a tray TJ put out. One of the cheeses needs to be approached with caution as it seems to be half jalapeno peppers.
There are way too many cookies, candy and pie for me to decide on dessert just yet.
