The RG is making pasta with cream sauce. I can't tell what else is in it at the moment.
The salad is going to be watercress and pear with Havarti and toasted almonds. I'm making that.
My vegetable beef soup I made yesterday was a real disappointment. I tried doctoring it up this morning and failed miserably. Sometimes things don't turn out so well in the kitchen, and this is one of those times.

(1,048 posts)My fiance and I are moving into a new house. Our settlement was supposed to be this past Thursday, but there was a delay thanks to the sellers. So it was postponed to this coming Thursday. Our entire kitchen is packed up. Plates, pots and pans, utensils...everything. So we've either been eating out at restaurants or doing takeout. Because its Sunday and we are both football lovers we are doing takeout. Grilled chicken garden salads and some wings.

(9,266 posts)Had it in a restaurant last week and it was so good I had to try to make it myself. Came out great. DH is sometimes leery of "new food" (new to him) and I told him it was kinda like shrimp scampi but with chicken. He really liked it too. We have a periodic dinner party with friends and I think I've found my next entree. Served over rice with a salad.
