What's for Dinner, Sat., Sept. 3, 2016

I spent a good part of the day in the kitchen, but didn't really make a meal, so I might have Chinese tonight. Today I made:

Cilantro pesto
Basil tea
Spicy chai tea
Chilled cucumber soup with basil and marjoram

Other options might be stuffed portobellos or burgers on the grill.

If I get Chinese, I'll put my cilantro pesto on the lo mein noodles.

and mushrooms and onions. The last of the homemade rolls.

I think a red wine is in order for tonight.

Doing the classic 3-2-1 method. Just tossed a bunch of red potatoes, onions, peppers and bacon in a disposable aluminum pan with a little chicken stock and put that on the grill too. Gonna let that go for about the last 3 hours and then I'm doing a brie with jalapenos a la Steven Raichlen. http://barbecuebible.com/recipe/plank-smoked-camembert/
