1. Red sauce w/ meatballs and sausage

Probably rigatoni for the pasta. All topped with pecorino romano.

(The aroma in the house right now is killing me. Another hour to go until ready...)

2. Chili, made with various leftover meat scraps

And it was every bit as awful as that sounds. As an added bonus, there are leftovers. do you suppose raccoons eat chili? No. That wouldn't be right.

4. Oh, honey, I feel your pain. Don't you have any teenagers around

to help? Could you borrow a few college kids?

3. Chicken pie, and bounty from the garden!

My sister made the chicken pie, my bro and SIL provided the green beans and squash from their garden, I made a broccoli/tomato salad and cooked the next-to-the-last bag of corn from last year out of the freezer. It was a wonderful meal.

Edit to add: The best thing about it is that there are leftovers!!

5. Pork tenderloins barbecued over a bed of oregano

I put a North African spice rub on them. Also serving a potato salad and a Greek salad.
