What's for Dinner, Thurs., Dec. 10, 2015

Yay, this is the last day of class at two of my schools. Next week finals. Then Christmas vacation.

Tonight's dinner will be out, probably at the Portuguese restaurant we always go to. That is due to the RG coming in from being in Vail and Aspen for food shows.

I will have shrimp scampi. This always comes with a large tossed salad that has artichoke hearts, tomatoes, a little red onion, and olives. Balsamic dressing. Yellow rice, fresh-made potato chips, and mixed vegetables.

over fettuccine. With shallots, garlic, anchovies, red pepper and black truffle oil (white wine deglaze).

Actually, it's lunch since I have and appointment around supper time.

I love frozen petite peas. I just put them in boiling water and drain after 30 seconds. Butter and black pepper.
