Not sure yet, but I think the fixings for a great big salad with sliced turkey cutlets, egg, and avocado on top. I have a couple different marinades for the turkey. One is lemon-garlic and the other is an Asian-type marinade.
Also I have some Brussels sprouts with which I intend to make a cold salad.

(29,098 posts)So there are left overs for tonight. With the crazy heat here in the PNW I am having to hole up in the bedroom where there is AC around 2 in the afternoon until at least midnight when it starts to cool off. Hate the heat! I escaped NJ/NY to get away from it....HA!

They had organic Golden Raspberries at the Central Market this morning and I think they'll go good with some Alden's Vanilla ice cream for dessert.

I hope others who have problem eaters will chime in on this. OUr family has dinner at my house every Sunday. I am the one who cooks dinner. There is one child, an 8 yr. old boy, who has been allowed eat whatever he wants since he was a little one. At 8 yrs, he is overweight, eats nothing but sweets, and is probably headed for a health crisis at some point in the future. He stuffs his mouth with food, chews, then goes to the bathroom to spit it in the toilet. Then he asks what we're having for dessert. His grandfather says that he does eat chicken nuggets at their house, but I have yet to see him take a bite of anything other than fruit or bread at my house.
