trying to cut back on Carbs, so since having wraps … will pass on the rice and beans.

that I know of. One is put out by Trader Joe's, and that's the one I buy, because the ones I got from the supermarket had a bug in them. Never trusted them after I saw that flattened bug on my soft-shell wrap.

Both bring the carbs down to five per wrap. That's pretty good, considering most wraps are 20-25 carbs per wrap.

Housemate was raving over a cool strawberry soup she had while on her trip to Alaska, said it was like a strawberry daiquiri without the alcohol. I could go for that about now. But I think we might do teriyake beef and noodles.

Started mowing the front lawns this afternoon - lawns plural, because I started in on mine and the neighbours on both sides. My parents live on one side, and neighbourhood gossip is that the neighbour on the other side is now sitting in jail, which would explain why his lawn is super high. So I pulled the mower out, did the strip between the sidewalk and the road on all three lawns, and started in on the section of the jailed neighbour's lawn between his driveway and the neighbour on the other side of him, but only got about halfway on that; really tall grass sucks down the battery on my electric lawnmower really fast. Once I get it recharged, I'll work on finishing that strip, then getting more of his done before I move back to the parents' and mine, since ours aren't nearly as high.

Yes, Erich, that was very kind on your part, especially considering the limitations of a battery-operated lawnmower.

Left over steak will make a cold dinner dish tomorrow - apparently we're in for a few hot, humid days.

....with cha siu, broccoli, cabbage, red onion, sugar snap peas, garlic, fresh ginger, red bell pepper.....and ramen noodles. I like ramen in stir fry.

Record heat coming for the next three days and I have declared a cooking moratorium. No hot food.
