What's for Dinner, Mon., July 27, 2015

Maybe cauliflower-cashew curry.

Might stop at the gourmet grocery in this new town where I'm working to see if they have anything left that looks good.

Had a nice poolside lunch with a friend today, but it was light, very light, and I'm already hungry again!

Probably do something with it indoors, since they've just finally started laying down the pavement outside, and I'm sure lots of nasty stuff will be outgassing for days or weeks to come. It occurs to me that this is the only time I remember that they've ever actually repaved our road in the 40+ years I've been on this street. Every time before, all I remember is patching and sealing cracks.

Grilled thin sliced flank steak on toasted Jalapeno-Cheddar buns with sauteed mushrooms. Probably a side of grape tomatoes with Marie's Chunky Blue Cheese dressing.

My housemate is a grilling fool. He'd rather fire up the grill than cook on a stove. He even grills bones for the dogs.

Bought some fresh lettuce, tomatoes and thick cut hickory smoked bacon today, so it was a no brainer.
