which I am taking to work. It will have Swiss cheese, sliced turkey breast (that I breaded and made myself), plus the usual fresh vegetables.

Last night I did not take anything to work for my dinner break, but I explored the Whole Foods-type market in that town. I tried small amounts of different salads from their salad bar, and while it was good, it certainly wasn't anything better than I can whip up at home, plus it was expensive.

When I arrived at home last night, the RG had brought me a take-out dinner and he even stayed up late with me while I enjoyed it. What a sweetie. It was a large panzanella salad with quail's eggs and all kinds of other fresh vegetables, plus there was my favorite buratta cheese appetizer with roasted red pepper and eggplant.

But the best part was this absolutely gorgeous dessert with chocolate crust and chocolate topping with some type of cherry filling. It was a creamy type of filling, but cherry-colored. The cherries were so flavorful! It had a thin chocolate wafer that was decorated with white swirls across the top. Quite artistic! This all came from that restaurant we go to that has the NYC skyline view.

Anyway, very nice to come home to.
