Boy, did I make a lot yesterday... Tonight I'll make a Caesar salad to go with.

ps: Agreed - I put carnitas on my list of future meals, after reading Maj. Nix's post. Got to have the guac with that, for sure!

Today I'm making regular spaghetti. At least I know that this will be okay. Salad on the side.

About as generic a meal as you can get.

And although I knew I was obsessing about the raspberries, I didn't realize it was compulsive...

Told the housemate I'd stop picking at 9 gallons, but I see all those luscious little ripe bundles of goodness, and I can't just let them rot on the canes. So I'll keep picking til they're gone, and the compulsion departs for another year.

I also was trimming along the side fence, and notice I'd missed a few cherries on the bush, and they'd turned a deeper, darker red and gotten bigger. I now thoroughly suspect I picked the bush cherries before they were actually ripe. So next year, I'll wait a bit longer to start pulling those in. They still worked really well in the jam, though.

I don't think so at all. After all, you give most of it away after you process it.

But I need to find some good shipping boxes and padding. If we really do end up with so much, I'm probably going to end up mailing a lot more this year.
