Still working on cleaning that refrigerator! Looks like caramelized onions and mushrooms over a steak.
Cucumber salad in cream sauce with dill and chopped scallion.
Dessert is going to be pistachio gelato.

(60,015 posts)sweet peppers, cukes, bosc pears, carrots, strawberries, craisins, honey smoked turkey, and walnuts - dressed with olive oil and lemon juice, fresh basil and chives and black pepper.
My wife adds Kalamata Olives and home made spiced pickled beets and balsamic to hers, and leaves out the turkey.
It's a big plate - hence dinner!

(14,733 posts)using up. Probably be salad for another couple of meals unless it goes even faster now.
We've already gotten our first two quarts of strawberries out of the yard, and June has barely started. We're on track to easily pull far more than we did last year, since I got at least one of the beds weeded before the start of flowering. The other bed is still mostly overrun with grass.

(23,156 posts)The Grecian chicken recipe:
boneless chicken breasts cut into strips
oregano, garlic, juice of one lemon, olive oil. In that order. You want the oregano on the meat first.
Cover, store in frig for a few hours.
Grill. I use a counter-top electric grill.
It takes about 8-10 minutes to grill, I think. I don't time it.
Really, really good. The cooked chicken also freezes well, and I'll be freezing at least half of what I cooked up today.
