We're having it with mashed potatoes, onion gravy, stewed carrots and a big red leaf lettuce salad. I'll make a lemon-garlic-honey-mustard vinaigrette for the salad. No bread for me, but Mr. Pup will have a ciabatta roll.

We couldn't wait for dessert, so we had our chocolate puddings made with raw ginger sugar, coconut milk, and 85% dark Lindt chocolate topped with toasted walnuts. At last, a gluten free and lactose free dessert that is easy on my hands to make. It's a good day!

Meatballs sound yummy, NJ Cher!

Roasted baby red potatoes with olive oil & garlic, and steamed asparagus.

The remainder of the strawberries will be for dessert!

using up more of the head of lettuce we used for tacos yesterday, along with another chunk of the raspberry chicken leftovers.

I gotta say, this dietary change to avoid another acute gout attack has the pounds dropping off nicely, which is doubly good, since dropping the weight drops the blood pressure along with it, which makes life easier for my kidneys.

and honey glazed carrots. IT was a belated birthday celebration for a six-year-old girl. The ice-cream cake was made by a family friend who works for Dairy Queen. The kiddies (and a few adults) LOVED the vanilla top layer, chocolate bottom layer, frosted with whipped cream and piped with pink & purple. It was perfect for the little birthday girl.

hummus, tabbouleh and tzatziki so the husbear can have pitas for lunch and panko-crusted chicken tenders and tater salad for supper. i also made a batch of bbq for the tenders, the rest of which will go with the pork roast i'll make on tuesday.
