What's for Dinner, Thurs., Feb. 12, 2015

I have a pork tenderloin in the slow cooker. I'm going to roast some vegetables and serve it with some of cannellinis the RG made. Will be a great cold-weather dinner. It will be very, very cold tonight.

I bought some strawberries when I was out and I think I'll dip them in chocolate for dessert!

Probably just a salad. I had a really big lunch today, and I'm sleepy at my desk at work. Oy! Time for a walk around the mountain to get my adrenaline up.

I made split pea soup and will have biscuits like my northern mother used to make -- Pillsbury from the can.

I have some nice red sauce made with sundried tomatoes and mild chilis. I'll top it with some raw red onion, a little garlic, green pepper and some Parmigiano-Reggiano.

...with a radish, cucumber and baby greens salad.

Eating dessert as I type this. Pulled some extra nice summer marionberries from the freezer and cranked out a cobbler. Gorgeous color, delicious flavor. Some heavy cream drizzle. Yum.
