Pesto salmon pasta

http://cookingwiththemark.blogspot.com

Ingredients
large salmon fillet
1 cup pesto
1 c cherry tomatoes, halved
parmesan cheese
black pepper
1/2 c chicken broth
3/4 pound pasta
kosher salt

Directions
In a large pan, add 1/3 c kosher salt to enough water to brine the salmon. Place salmon in water, flesh side down and brine for 1/2 hour. Remove fillet and pat dry with paper toweling. Coat with pesto and bake in 350° oven until cooked through. Remove and let cool. In a large saucepan, bring broth to boil. Add salmon and break into smaller pieces. Simmer for a minute or two, add tomatoes and combine with cooked pasta. Sprinkle with black pepper and serve with parmesan.
