What's for Dinner, Sat., Oct. 11, 2014

It will be a deep-dish pizza with a cauliflower crust. I did most of the work last night, but was too tired to finish, so I will complete this meal when I get home from teaching classes, visiting a friend, and a quick shopping trip.

I did, however, have some delicious salad made last night, and that was "what was for dinner."

Today I have some barlotti (sp?) beans soaking to put in the slow cooker later.

Took some slow braised spicy pork out of the freezer. That with some sliced ham, swiss, tomatoes and pickles on french bread grilled on the press will be quite tasty I hope.

Now my big question is should I have my husband stop and get some potato chips on the way home.

aka - chicken gizzard stew. I just had a hankering for it. With crusty garlic bread.
