That's what I love to see. Not a blemish or sign of spoilage on any of them.

I would eat those tomatoes raw and fry up the eggplants. Nom, nom.

I bought fresh basil, still growing, and will use it too. He grew basil last year, but critters got to it this year, in spite of his light electric line surrounding his gardens.

Much as we like it, insects seem to like it just as much.

I keep a plant on my kitchen sill and pluck it.
