Dry rub + some BBQ sauce on the chicken. Plus grilled zucchini brushed with a little olive oil.

It's cooled down here by 20 degrees - so it's oven time!

I was turned on to it when I was served fois gras (I know, not pc) on a flight from London to Denver when I was 21. My sister and I even tried to make it I once.

If you haven't tried the Georgia Boys' BBQ I sure recommend it. Three Georgia boys moved to Boulder and started cooking in their tiny condo kitchen and on a grill smokehouse in the yard. Amazing what they have done, started the Longmont Shack , 237 Collyer, using their mom's recipes and Boulder and Longmont apparently hadn't had BBQ this good. Packed and sold out every day. So just recently opened a much larger place in Frederick, 141 5th. Rave reviews. Best I've had since I moved here 39 years ago. Great sides, desserts, beer etc. Catering too. It's so good to see young, hard-working kids make it these days.

Don't get down there often, but I'll make a trip for good bbq. We're going to the kitchen tonight, I'm looking forward to it.
