So when I do fix something, I try to make at least 3 meals out of it.

a weird eating schedule, and I'm always erratic... ... plus, I'm moving back toward veggie land again.

I am still having fish and chicken but have cut out beef and pork, so I'm developing new dishes that will work for several meals for me and then using the crockpot for main dishes for Bill. He's helping his brother with a construction project and working his regular job, so he grabs something when he can these days, which makes crockpot meals a good fit.

I think watching all those cute Disney flicks at a young age made me a very reluctant carnivore.

A hefty palm full of fresh dill into boiling salted water with halved new potatoes. Drained all and topped with some butter, the cheddar, chives, pepper and parsley. Let set for a while. Came out as a good peppery, cheesy potato dish.

I made a bunch of Ukrainian food today for a friend who is coming over tomorrow when my kids will be with their dad, so we might eat some of the stuff today since I made quite a bit (especially the borscht!) But we also have left overs from my daughter's birthday meal last night (take out fried chicken) so we'll probably eat that up as well. And I'm trying to clean out the fridge...so probably random cut up veggies too.
