Thanks for the recipe link -- another unexpected surprise from DU! -- I love the fresh, peppery smell and flavor of coriander, or cilantro, the Spanish word for it here in Calif. Those meatballs look like something I'd like to try.

Cilantro is very popular in Mexican cuisine, so its abundant and very cheap (3-4 big bunches $1) and used in almost every type of recipe. I always keep some in the freezer to quickly crumble into what's cooking.

None of those recipes call for Coriander. they all want fresh Cilantro, the weed I have to grow to get Coriander ( ;

Do not like that taste. Not at all

I love coriander or cilantro. I, too, thought the meatball recipe looked good.

This was a save in my recipe file!
