I've been craving an Asian dish. I walk by a local Thai place every day, so went for it. Really for lunch tomorrow but a spicy, spicy bit was good this afternoon.

yum, both sound great. But then I have a fondness for Asian food.

Are you getting that rain we're hearing about? So relieved to hear it was in the forecast.

with a cold broccoli salad. (I'm going to steam the broccoli lightly first. Still crunchy, but not totally raw.)

I'll probably toss in some sunflower kernels too.

10. Another late night dinner

Feb 2014

It will be a late-night dinner, as I am going to a play with my class tonight. "Master Harold and the Boys."

But when I get home, I'll have beef rollatini, which is in the crockpot. Tossed green salad. Waffle fries.

Dessert will be plums with yogurt and chopped crystallized ginger and a cup of orange-spice tea.

12. tomato soup from scratch (with a Mexican twist) with a bunch of 'toppings' and nachos.

Toppings were things like diced avocado, a jalapeno/yogurt sauce, diced chilies, feta cheese, cherry tomatoes, chopped cilantro etc.

It was very yummy but wayyy too spicy for the kids. Well, the younger kids anyway. That's okay, they liked their nachos.
