My wife and I love eggs benedict. And real hollandaise sauce is not that difficult.

With lemon, lime, Dijon, horseradish, tobasco, and vodka.

Serve chilled in a glass over ice, garnish with celery.

The multi-grain bagel was topped with whipped cream cheese. Then I topped it with sliced Persian cucumber, red onion sliced on the mandolin, and roasted cherry tomatoes.

Yum yum yum. I wish I could have two.

But instead I'll round it out with a little fruit topped with vanilla yogurt.

Also, I heard on the radio that on NY's Day you should open your windows and doors to let out the old and tired energy and let in the new, vibrant energy. So I did that. Yeah, it was cold for a little while but the air now has a crisp, new feel.

A frittata for him and bacon and home fries for both of us.
