Got this email from my twin sister tonight. I already knew but I'm glad she shared the news before our family T Day get together. B's a very special niece. It's going to be a good one.
I want to announce that B and D are expecting their first child! There was a brief thought that it might be twins, but an ultrasound today confirmed one healthy fetus!! They saw their baby and then saw Obama on the way home. Wild! B is also feeling well with no morning sickness. We are beyond happy and so happy to share the news with you all. Love, M and P, or should I say grandma and grandpa.

Happy Thanksgiving, Pinto! You must be giggly right about now!
I hope all have a cool Thanksgiving, even for those who are alone. (When I was alone, in college, in a state I wasn't familiar with, I offered up an "orphan Thanksgiving" to my fellow mates...it started out as 3 people, after years, it grew! And in the end, it blossomed to 27 folks. It took 6 yrs, but what the hell. It was FUN!
Host an orphan Thanksgiving today. No, Really. There's a lot of folks who don't (nor can't) go "home" during this time.
be cool,

On edit - it extended to the grad school years, well into the pre-doc years. Again, that was fun!
