Cooking & Baking
Related: About this forumdid anyone watch Food Network's live Thanksgiving show this afternoon?
I had it on in the background while doing some sewing. The stars were Bobby Flay, Ina Garten, Giada whatever, and Alton Brown. They were cooking and taking live skype and messages etc.
Giada was a mess. I fear she may have been drunk. She chattered like a nut, talking over everyone else. She ate out of serving bowls with her fingers! She cut herself about 3/4 way into the show. When it came time to serve themselves from the buffet toward the end of the show, she heaped her plate grossly, hugely high. And then she reached over with her fingers and ate food off Alton's plate!
They all seemed to be drinking quite a bit. Alton was testy, and in one scene when someone else was talking he drained a glass of wine and then went behind the talker and picked up someone else's cocktail for himself.
It was a bit chaotic.

(68,644 posts)Usually there aren't any mistakes in editing, one wonders if the producers were trying to play with us all.

Bobby was trying to keep it togather. LOL

(43,049 posts)checked the comments on FN and everyone hated it, especially Giada who was, by consensus, the most annoying and probably drunk.
There's nothing about it being replayed or online that I see so far, but it sounds too bizarre to keep it in the shadows.

we're talking over each other.
It's been on a couple of times so it will
probably be on again.

(9,791 posts)For starters Giada was obnoxious. All four of them were talking over each other and it got on my nerves. That's when I bailed out.
