Related: About this forumJust made the most delicious scalloped tomatoes. Sweated
half a giant sweet onion in butter. Added 1 tbsp. of brown sugar. Stirred. Cut a ciabatta into cubes and added that to the onions. Tossed with fresh basil leaves. Added 1 big can of diced tomatoes. Stirred till mixed. Poured into a baking dish. I put shredded cheddar cheese on top to add protein but you dont' need to. It tastes great without it. Baked for 35 minutes. Yummy
