(135,060 posts)Am up especially early and finishing off my cauliflower. . Called my cleaning lady and told her to clean out the fridge and take anything she wanted. Granted not a lot there but would hate to come home and have to throw something out.

Now you have me intrigued about the special guest.
Salad: I made this up myself, inspired by something I read on a menu. Greens, green apple slices, red grapes, cucumbers, chopped celery, blue cheese, crumbled. Also dried cranberries, but I soaked them in hot water before putting them in the salad. Salad dressing is orange-pecan vinaigrette. This turned out to be a very, very good salad.
Entree was thin pork slices with tomato, cheese, roasted garlic, and potato on top.
