I have some gooseberries

Any suggestions as to what I could do with them besides jam?

1. Pie or cobbler?

2. muffins or flan.

Do NOT forcefully flick tons of them under the bedroom doors back and forth with your sister in a gooseberry war. This will piss your mother off no end. (Things I learned in my youth)

3. Flan gives me an idea

I could make gooseberry tart. I've got a bunch of them, so I expect we'll be having a lot of gooseberry everything and also freezing a bunch.

Wish we had sour cherries, too, but they all got frozen out this year.

4. my cherries were drowned.

live and learn. they got so much mold, and they were so soft, that i ended up only using half of what i picked.
my chickens are in heaven, tho.
