Bill made a pan of King Ranch Enchiladas last night, so we have plenty of leftovers.

1. Probably the usual. Wine at our art museum.

Free jazz concert tonight. Then some snacky things later on. Maybe a rarebit.

6. LOL! I'm having wine at

the art gallery tonight too! But after that . . . don't know!

2. It's cold and rainy here

So I'm making chili with ground turkey and beans.

Lots of toppings, like low-fat cheddar, chopped red onion, scallions, pablanos, chipotle, maybe a smidgen of sour cream.

Maybe some cornbread to go with.

3. can't have chili without cornbread

america's test kitchen suggested toasting the corn meal in the oven before making the batter, i'm going to give that a shot next time and see how it works.

8. It's ugly here too.

I decided to make a pot of broccoli/cauliflower au gratin soup. It was definitely a soup or chili day.

4. pasta primavera and salad

and at least one bottle of wine.

staying at a girlfriend's tonight and that's what she wanted. it's going to be a tasty meal.

More of last night's chicken/rice casserole and green beans.

7. lamb chops

marinated in rosemary, balsamic vinegar and a bit of olive oil. Served with rice and asparagus.
