This will be the first time I've ever used "Emeril's Essence", and therefore the first time I've ever kicked anything up a notch, so to speak. We'll see how that turns out. I could have been missing out for years.

Mr. Pup back on overtime. I'll have the turkey cutlets and gingered carrots (non-inflammatory); he will have the gumbo when he makes it home. We'll split an avocado. Nothing too darn special.

As a child during the depression we often had "City Chicken". Apparently pork in Indiana was cheaper than chicken. It's cubes of pork (and/or beef or veal) on 6 in. wooden skewers, breaded or baked. Almost as good as fried chicken drumsticks.
