Sorry for the delay today! I had my first doc apt with the sleep study people and didn't get home until a few minutes ago.
Hope all is well with you! ?

(2,593 posts)I may go totally crazy and whip up some chocolate milkshakes, too. Other than a few pickles, nothing green on the plate......my mother would be mortified! She always insisted that a green vegetable or salad be included in every dinner.

Personally, I think pickles totally count!

(28,481 posts)AKA, leftovers from the prior week and a half. Cleaning the fridge and freezer out, will forage for whatever is edible and have a smorgasbord! Possible still edible entrees and side dishes include but are not limited to:
turkey soup
lemony beef artichoke stew
spaghetti and sauce with pork
pizza
baked beans
...and whatever is in that container in the back of the fridge, though probably not since I'm sure it's growing hair by now.
Bon appetite, y'all!

(12,253 posts)Hope you find a solution for your sleepless nights. I'm on a detox diet because of a recent flare up of arthritis. Tonight, baked chicken breasts, kale and garbanzo beans with tons of garlic and cayenne, and mashed Yukon gold potatoes. (No milk, no bread, no sugar) Been on this for two days and my knuckle is no longer swollen, but then the Nor'Easter just passed by. It dumped about 8 inches of snow.

(35,690 posts)On my way home from class tonight, I was fantasizing about food. I was stuck behind a slow-moving SUV and it was pure torture.
I fantasized about barbecued ribs. Then barbecued chicken.
Finally I get away from the SUV and arrived at home around 10 p.m.
On the kitchen counter is a take-out restaurant meal awaiting me.
I opened the container and it was barbecued ribs and grilled chicken!
I love having a mind-reader spouse.
