I may go totally crazy and whip up some chocolate milkshakes, too. Other than a few pickles, nothing green on the plate......my mother would be mortified! She always insisted that a green vegetable or salad be included in every dinner.

AKA, leftovers from the prior week and a half. Cleaning the fridge and freezer out, will forage for whatever is edible and have a smorgasbord! Possible still edible entrees and side dishes include but are not limited to:

turkey soup
lemony beef artichoke stew
spaghetti and sauce with pork
pizza
baked beans
...and whatever is in that container in the back of the fridge, though probably not since I'm sure it's growing hair by now.

Bon appetite, y'all!

Just got my produce shipment and it looks great. Included beautiful strawberries, endive and multi-colored carrots!

Hope your sleep study goes well.

Mr. Pup just called and is still working on a case, so I will probably have two bites and he will come home. Have fun!

Hope you find a solution for your sleepless nights. I'm on a detox diet because of a recent flare up of arthritis. Tonight, baked chicken breasts, kale and garbanzo beans with tons of garlic and cayenne, and mashed Yukon gold potatoes. (No milk, no bread, no sugar) Been on this for two days and my knuckle is no longer swollen, but then the Nor'Easter just passed by. It dumped about 8 inches of snow.

Homemade. Couldn't pass up a deal on fresh mozzarella, and I had some dough in the refrigerator that needed to be used.

rice noodles and lemon fizz water. Made enough for about 4 meals so I won't have to cook too often the next few days.

On my way home from class tonight, I was fantasizing about food. I was stuck behind a slow-moving SUV and it was pure torture.

I fantasized about barbecued ribs. Then barbecued chicken.

Finally I get away from the SUV and arrived at home around 10 p.m.

On the kitchen counter is a take-out restaurant meal awaiting me.

I opened the container and it was barbecued ribs and grilled chicken!

I love having a mind-reader spouse.

ground beef, bacon, jalapenos, green chiles and red onion. good thing my husband ordered it, otherwise i would have gone grocery shopping hungry and we all know how that ends.
