(28,791 posts)I just put the carcass on the stove, hopefully I'll be able to find time to make bread too. Unfortunately I'm out of good Italian egg noodles, have to settle for American style

(9,275 posts)Threw a big boneless breast, a bag of frozen mixed veggies, a handful of chopped onions, a can of broth, garlic powder, a couple bullion cubes and water in the crock pot. When I got home, shredded the meat and added some cooked egg noodles. Delicious on a snowy night.

I see these threads every day and I think to myself, you really don't want to tell them you are having a peanut butter and jelly sandwich and a can of Chef Boy-R-Dee Ravioli, now do ya? Just having worked a 12 hour day, that's about all I have the energy for!
Hee hee.
Love pork chops and your meal sounds delish.

(2,282 posts)brushed with olive oil and butter then broiled and seasoned with lemon & pepper spice and served with fresh lemon wedges, fresh steamed asparagus, homemade rice pilaf, roasted potato wedges, garden salad with olive oil and red wine vinegar, and Santa Margherita Pinot Grigio. Though I started on the pinot grigio a little before the meal.
Store bought lemon sorbet for dessert.
