How McDonald's fries are prepped

and I understand why they use a (probably) ascorbic acid and dextrose wash.

The only McDonald's products I ever found edible were the fish sandwich and the fries.

from turning gray. Also, I wonder what oil they use to do the initial fry. What vegetable oil do they use for final frying?
