We vacationed in the Adirondacks last summer and had access to--nothing! He sketched; I read or wrote. The cellphone was inoperable in that area. All balm to the soul.

We pulled into one cove where there was a connection - from where it came, I have no idea. I insisted that we pretend that we didn't have it and move on in the morning.

Blissful! Now back to the election.

We had loaded up on really good meats from Whole Paycheck and excellent produce from a local farmers market.

We ate like Queens and King every night. A great culinary trip, as well as a wonderful respite with points of unexpected adventures.

All is well.

Debating on whether to have our celebratory eating out night tonight at the local restaurant or eat in and try to catch the debate on radio.

If we eat in, I will be making Seared Asian Steak and Mushrooms on Mixed Greens with Ginger Dressing
