Will spend the day sailing over to the mainland and I want to go out to eat when we get there!

Enjoy your steak and salad.

We made it safe and sound.

Bright lights big city, but just for a week.

This is probably our last nice day....it's 73 and the leaves are awesome. Here is a pic from a little road trip we took two days ago. We'll probably lose a lot of leaves this weekend as it is going to rain.

Steak and salad, you must be feeling better .

I would love to come down and see Fall in the Smokys. We have gum trees in our area too, but it seems that oaks and maples are the predominate hardwoods (in that order).

Nice Friday night, spirited but polite political discussion at the bar...which depends so much on the participants. Home by 9PM! We're wild, I tell ya, WILD!

I put it in the slow cooker about an hour ago. It went in late because I fell asleep all afternoon: I have a bad cold.

It has rosemary, potatoes, carrots, parsnips, onions, garlic, and other herbs with it. It has been marinating for a day or so.

Your lamb sounds like a book title. "Lamb at Midnight" -- sort of mysterious and quirky.

Pot roast with all the trimmings, mashed potatoes, gravy and salad.

We still have a LOT of work to do to get ready for my husband's 50th birthday party a week from this Sunday so when I cook this week it will have to last 2 or 3 days.
